THE STUNNING MARMORE FALLS
Marmore Falls is the name of a
165-meters-high roaming water column distributed on three drops. Its
history began in 271 B.C., when the Roman consul Curio Dentato built a 2-kilometers-long canal from Rieti to the cliff of Marmore. In the XIX Century, Marmore Falls were a leg of the
“Grand Tour”, the long journey undertaken across Italy by Goethe, Lord Byron and others.
